Observed induction cooktop on counter top. Per PIC, they use the induction cooktop to reheat soups. Soups are prepackaged and the bags are submerged in boiling water. [CA] Provide approved exhaust hood ventilation over all cooking equipment as required to effectively remove cooking odors, smoke, steam, grease, heat, and vapors. An exemption may be applied for. Please submit application to this department's plan check division for approval.
