Numerous bottles of alcohol spirits were found to be adulterated with dead insect bodies. [CA] Food is adulterated if it bears or contains any poisonous or deleterious substance that may render it impure or injurious to health and shall be discarded immediately. [COS] Bottles were drained. Discussed with PIC about verifying that food items are not adulterated and to inspect bottle before each shift.

Inspector’s notes

A singular live adult cockroach was found on the corner above the entry into the back of house area. An adult dead cockroach was found on the trim of a seating area. A couple of dead adult cockroaches were found on a sticky trap under the prep sink. [CA] Ensure to maintain the facility free of all animals, pests, and vermin. [COS] PIC elimianted the live cockroach. No other live cockroach activity. Dead cockroaches were cleaned and removed. Per PIC, they had pest control service earlier this week and will continue service. Provide pest control reports to district specialist.
