5+ live cockroaches of varying life cycles observed in-between the crevices of the chest freezers. Facility was treated by licensed pest control service on 12/9/2024. Pest control report was emailed to district inspector for review prior to inspection. [CA] The premises of each food facility shall be kept free of vermin. A food facility shall not operate when there is a vermin infestation that has resulted in the contamination of food contact surfaces, food packaging, utensils, food equipment, or adulteration of food(s). The food facility shall cease operation of the food facility immediately. The food facility shall remain closed until: there is no longer evidence of a vermin infestation; all contaminated surfaces have been cleaned and sanitized; and contributing factors such as cleaning, repairs, and the elimination of harborages have been resolved. ** Note: This Division recommends inspecting all incoming materials and replacing all cardboard containers with plastic containers with rigid lids.

Cockroach activity observed in the following areas: - 5+ live of various life cycles observed crawling on floor upon entry into the storage room. - 20+ observed on sticky monitoring traps placed throughout the facility. - 10+ live and dead activity observed crawling around chest freezers - inside torn gaskets, on lip on the underside of the lid, etc. - Crawling on building material stored by the entry way. - Crawling in and around cardboard boxes of cooking oil placed on floor. Rodent droppings observed on shelves and floors throughout the storage room. [CA] The premises of each food facility shall be kept free of vermin. A food facility shall not operate when there is a vermin infestation that has resulted in the contamination of food contact surfaces, food packaging, utensils, food equipment, or adulteration of food(s). The food facility shall cease operation of the food facility immediately.
