Provide consumers with an opportunity to recycle and/or appropriately manage compostable plastics and utilize a qualified recycling and/or organics management system. Redacción oficial (en inglés): Thoroughly wash all raw fruits and vegetables before, cutting, combining with other ingredients, cooking, serving, or offering for human consumption in ready-to-eat form. They must be washed in potable water or by using approved chemicals specified in part 4626.1625.
Nota del inspector (en inglés): Observed employee cutting strawberry fruits directly from the package without washing. Note: Always wash all fresh fruits thoroughly before cutting.
