- Menor Problemas de origen, fechas o etiquetas de los alimentos
Los alimentos venían de una fuente no aprobada, les faltaban fechas o etiquetas obligatorias, o ya habían pasado su fecha límite de uso. Saber de dónde vienen los alimentos y qué tan viejos son ayuda a prevenir enfermedades.
Redacción oficial (en inglés): Include the following information on the food label: 1. common name of the food; 2. ingredient list; 3. quantity; 4. manufacturer name and location; 5. allergen declaration; 6. nutrition label, unless exempt; 7. fish color additives.
Nota del inspector (en inglés): Observed containers of repackaged m&m's, and other bulk items without proper labeling. Ensure all ingredients, allergens, and address are declared on repackaged items. - Menor Problemas con el lavado de manos
El personal no se lavaba las manos cuando debía, o un lavamanos estaba bloqueado, sin jabón ni toallas de papel, o se usaba para otra cosa. Las manos son una de las formas más comunes en que los gérmenes llegan a la comida.
Redacción oficial (en inglés): Food businesses must have handwashing sinks with a water temperature of: • At least 100 degrees F • Not hotter than 130 degrees F • If children use the sink, the water temperature must not be hotter than 120 degrees F
Nota del inspector (en inglés): Observed hand washing sink at 67F. Ensure all hand washings sinks are at least 100F. PIC stated the hot water heater for the booth is being repaired as soon as possible. Will follow up with hot water temperature.
