OBSERVED APPROXIMATELY 5-10 DEAD COCKROACHES ON FLOORS BENEATH EQUIPMENT THROUGHOUT THE BASEMENT AREA AND BENEATH COOKING EQUIPMENT IN THE MAIN KITCHEN AREA. INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE DEAD COCKROACHES AND CLEAN AND SANITIZE THE AFFECTED AREAS AND MAINTAIN ALL AREAS FREE FROM DEAD OR TRAPPED INSECTS OR OTHER PESTS.
The inspector found mice, rats, cockroaches, flies, or evidence of them (like droppings) inside the business, or conditions that could attract them. Pests can spread bacteria to food and surfaces, so this is treated as one of the more serious findings.

Equipment, utensils, thermometers, cutting boards, or single-use items were not in good condition, not the right type, or not stored properly.

OBSERVED DRAIN PLUMBING AT THE BASEMENT EMPLOYEE WASHROOM AREA HANDWASHING SINK TO BE SLOW-DRAINING, BUT FUNCTIONAL. INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR OR REPLACE HANDWASHING SINK DRAIN PLUMBING IN THIS AREA TO ALLOW FOR ADEQUATE DRAINAGE AND MAINTAIN ALL PLUMBING FIXTURES IN GOOD REPAIR.
