majorCode MN Rule 4626.1690CFacility maintenance

Official wording

The business needs to submit a request for a variance and maintain the approved variance.

Inspector’s notes

Upon request, CCTV of the unsupervised micro market was not connected, so footage was unavailable. This is a requirement for the variance agreement which exempts the micro market from having a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) onsite. The Canteen representative indicated that a maintenance request would be placed to connect the CCTV. Obtain CCTV footage and ensure that it stays connected to meet variance agreement requirements.

In plain English

Floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, ventilation, or garbage areas needed repair or cleaning. These are usually less urgent than food-handling problems but still need to be fixed.
