Some sections in the floor area of the grocery were observed with cracked, broken or missing tiles. Discussed with owner. Repair/replace broken, cracked or missing tiles and maintain floors smooth, durable, non-porous and easily cleanable at all times.

In plain English

minorCode MN Rule 4626.0435AFood source and labeling

Official wording

Label all food packages as required by the law.

Inspector’s notes

Individual packages of sticks of butter, popsicles and fish were observed out of their original container and are missing the labels from the package. These items are not meant to be removed from the package as they are not individually labeled for sale. Discontinue selling products that do not have the label information (e.g. name of product, ingredients in order of predominance, and allergens).

In plain English

Food came from an unapproved source, was missing required date marks or labels, or was past its use-by date. Knowing where food came from and how old it is helps prevent illness.
