Toxic substances properly identified stored & used
7-204.11 ; Priority; Sani Professional Wipes: Cleaning Multi Surface Wipes stored on the cutting board to be used as sanitizing wipes are not for sanitizing. These wipes are intended for tables and chairs; surfaces in the dining room; etc. Sani Professional has no rinse sanitizing multi surface wipes with red packaging. Sanitizer needs to be used (not cleaning wipes) so that any residual that remains on cutting boards; thermometer probe; food contact surfaces; etc is safe. Today; green cleaning wipes were removed from the kitchen and replaced with pans of sanitizer from the ware washing sink.
Cleaning products, pesticides, or other chemicals were stored or labeled in a way that could let them get into food. This is serious because chemical contamination can make people sick quickly.
