The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests is not being adequately controlled or minimized. Observed mouse droppings on shelves in dry storage room and gnawed into packages of chocolate chips. Chocolate chips were voluntarily discarded. Food employee said they would have droppings cleaned up day of inspection to be able to monitor for any ongoing activity. Discussed with PIC keeping protecting door to exterior by handwashing sink from the entrance of pests.
