FOUND THE RESTROOM'S HAND WASH SINK INOPERABLE (WITH A LEAK). [CA] REPAIR THE SINK WITHIN 24 HRS. SA: MAY USE THE HAND WASH SINK AT THE FRONT SERVICE AREA IN THE MEAN TIME. FAILURE TO REPAIR THE SINK IN 24 HRS MAY RESULT IN CLOSURE OR FURTHER LEGAL ACTION.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
