Demonstration of knowledge; food safety certification
Food handler training not provided. [CA]: All employees that handle open food or food contact surfaces (for ex: washing dishes) shall obtain valid Food Handler Cards within 30 days of employment. Food Handler Cards shall be maintained on site and available for review at all times.
A required permit, food safety certificate, trained manager, or posted sign was missing or not current. These show the business is following the rules and has trained staff.

1. Facility ware-washes ice scoop on site but no sanitizer is available. [CA]: Provide Chlorine (bleach) sanitizer or Quat Ammonium sanitizer. Manual sanitization shall be accomplished in the final sanitizing rinse by contacting a chlorine solution of 100 PPM concentration for at least 30 seconds or by contacting a quaternary ammonium solution of 200 PPM concentration for at least 60 seconds.
