Two live cockroaches observed within the dry storage room (one on floor and one on ceiling panel). Photographs taken. Person in charge, Sandip, notified of closure. [CA]: A facility cannot operate if there is a vermin infestation that leads to contamination of food contact surfaces, packaging, utensils, food equipment, or adulteration of food. Prep area seems to be extending from the past inspection visits. The area is extending into what was originally customer lobby. The floors and ceilings are not approved for food prep. The facility was originally approved [CA] Cease and desist all operations, until final plan check approval has been received from this department. A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling.
