- Hallazgo Problemas de origen, fechas o etiquetas de los alimentos
Los alimentos venían de una fuente no aprobada, les faltaban fechas o etiquetas obligatorias, o ya habían pasado su fecha límite de uso. Saber de dónde vienen los alimentos y qué tan viejos son ayuda a prevenir enfermedades.

Nota del inspector (en inglés): 3-501.17; Priority foundation; Observed a container of hotdogs labeled with a date label of 2/24-3/03; not counting the date of opening the package as day 1. Refrigerated; ready-to-eat; TCS food prepared and held in a food establishment for more than 24 hours shall be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed on the premises; sold; or discarded when held at a temperature of 41F or less for a maximum of 7 days. Productos de limpieza, pesticidas u otros químicos estaban guardados o etiquetados de una manera que podría permitir que llegaran a los alimentos. Es grave porque la contaminación química puede enfermar a las personas rápidamente.

Poisonous/toxic materials shall be stored so they can't contaminate food; equipment; utensils; linens; and single-use/single-service articles by: Separating the poisonous/toxic materials by spacing or partitioning; and locating the poisonous/toxic materials in an area that is not above the listed items.
