5-202.14(A) OBSERVED INADEQUATE HOT RUNNING WATER AT THE HAND WASHING SINK LOCATED IN THE FOOD PREP AREA; HOT WATER AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION WAS ONLY 52F. INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR AND ALWAYS MAINTAIN 100F AT THE HAND WASHING SINK AT ALL TIMES. PRIORITY VIOLATION. CITATION ISSUED 7-38-030(C).
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
