ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE
OBSERVED HAND SOAP AND DISPOSABLE PAPER TOWELS PROVIDED AT THE REAR WAREWASHING AREA 3-COMPARTMENT SINK. INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE HAND SOAP AND DISPOSABLE PAPER TOWELS AND PROVIDE HANDWASHING AIDS ONLY AT SINKS DESIGNATED FOR HANDWASHING AND MAINTAIN.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.

OBSERVED INSECT CONTROL DEVICES IN THE WALK-IN COOLER IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO PACKAGED FOOD ITEMS (MILK, LUNCH MEAT). INSTRUCTED TO RELOCATE INSECT CONTROL DEVICES SUCH THAT THEY DO NOT POSE RISK OF CONTAMINATION OF FOOD OR CLEAN EQUIPMENT AND MAINTAIN.
The inspector found mice, rats, cockroaches, flies, or evidence of them (like droppings) inside the business, or conditions that could attract them. Pests can spread bacteria to food and surfaces, so this is treated as one of the more serious findings.
