ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE
NOTED THE HAND WASHING SINK IN THE TODDLER CLASSROOM WITH DIRTY FOOD UTENSILS INSIDE THE SINK. UNABLE TO PROPERLY WASH HANDS AT THE SINK. MANAGEMENT REMOVED THE UTENSILS. REVIEWED THAT HAND WASHING SINKS ARE FOR HAND WASHING PURPOSES ONLY. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION 7-38-030(C) CITATION ISSUED.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
