OBSERVED NO HOT WATER AT EXPOSED HANDWASHING SINK IN REAR PREP AREA DUE TO SINK NOT BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE RUNNING WATER UNDER PRESSURE. INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR OR REPLACE AND MAINTAIN SINK SO THAT IT IS CAPABLE OF DELIVERING HOT AND COLD RUNNING WATER UNDER PRESSURE AT AN ACCEPTABLE RANGE BETWEEN 100-120F. PRIORITY VIOLATION 7-38-030(C). CITATION ISSUED.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
