Official wording
Properly cove and seal floor-wall junctures.
Inspector’s notes
During remodel of the space for this business, an epoxy floor and integral base cove were provided. The base cove was not properly completed, as epoxy was not drawn up to fully cover the broadcast flecks toward the top of the base cove. This resulted in a rough surface on many sections of the cove, which may be hard to keep clean. The company that installed the epoxy should be able to apply an additional coat over rough sections of the base cove to correct this deficiency.
