Food service equipment must be certified for sanitation. The certification must be by an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited program.

Inspector’s notes

A domestic Samsung refrigerator was observed in use holding raw shell eggs. This unit cannot be used for holding food shelf product. It can, however, be used for employee food and beverage items.
