Observed missing quantities of legumes, fresh produce, and milk products that are required under the Staple Foods ordinance. A handout on Staple Foods requirements will be provided in this report. Make sure foods required under the Staple Foods ordinance are carried at all times.

Observed the establishment to be missing multiple items required by the Staple Food Ordinance. Establishment was missing the following items required by the Staple Food Ordinance: Observed there to be no cans of beans or legumes; Observed there to be no packages of dried peas, beans, or lentils; Observed there to be only fresh bananas as fresh produce. A copy of the Staple Foods Ordinance was left onsite. Information for the requirements under the Staple Food ordinance will be included in this report. Ensure that products are stocked as required under the Staple Foods Ordinance.
