Keep a log to record employee illness symptoms. Have it available upon request.
Inspector’s notes
Employee illness is recorded in an internal messaging system, but not all the required information is stored. When an employee call in sick for a scheduled shift or leaves work due to illness the following must be recorded: date of illness, employee name, employee symptoms (most importantly vomit/diarrhea) and the date they return to work. Discussed requirements with management, provided a log with report. You may design your own log or use the one provided.
