Food service equipment must be certified for sanitation. The certification must be by an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited program.
Inspector’s notes
Observed "household" grade refrigerator on site. Per plan review notes, " Inspected establishment as part of licensing review approval process. License approved with condition establishment will serve only shelf-stable snacks, and if they want to serve catered-in TCS foods they MUST provide/use an ANSI/NSF approved coolers. Provide a commercial grade, ANSI/NSF approved cooler if you will be storing TCS foods.
