Jewelry and other devices on the wrist carry levels of mircroorganisms that cannot be eliminated during handwashing. 2-303.11 Prohibition - Jewelry (C) Remove jewelry on hands and arms while preparing food. A plain ring; such as a wedding band; is allowed. Observation: Staff observed not wearing hair coverings or beard restraints during production tasks. CDI: This was corrected by providing hair restraints for staff during inspection. 2-402.11 Effectiveness - Hair Restraints (C) Use head coverings; beard guards and clothing to restrain body hair from contacting exposed food; equipment; and utensils.
