notedCode 6.4(A)Facility maintenance

Official wording

6.4(A) - Repairing

Inspector’s notes

The physical facilities were not maintained in good repair. 1. Observed missing floor tiles behind the large dishwashing machine, allowing water to pool in the area. The floor surface must be repaired to provide a smooth, durable, and easily cleanable finish. 2. Observed that the lower front portions of the walk-in cooler doors are soiled, causing the protective covering to peel. These areas must be thoroughly cleaned and the damaged covering replaced. 3. Observed missing baseboards near the second large dishwashing machine. A wooden panel has been installed on the wall; however, it leaves gaps that are not easily cleanable. The baseboard must be properly replaced to eliminate these gaps. 4. Observed parts of the kitchen area with missing or damaged baseboards. All affected areas must be repaired or replaced to provide a smooth, durable, and easily cleanable surface.
