The business had issues with hot or cold running water, plumbing, drains, backflow prevention, or sewage disposal. Some of these, like no hot water, can force a temporary closure until fixed.
More about water, plumbing, or sewage problemsObserved the top shelf of refrigeration unit holding at 55.6 *F and the two middle shelves at 45- 46 *F. Minimal air flow observed coming from unit in these sections of shelving across from wines. Observed the top shelf at 44 *F and middle shelves at 42.9 *F. Low air flow and internal thermometer did not match probe measurement for temperature. The following items were discarded: 6 sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, 2 stuffed cheese pretzels, 6 hot pockets and 8 egg salad/ roast beef sandwiches. Do not use areas noted in unit until repaired to hold temperatures at 41 *F. Provide separate standing thermometers in this area of shelving.
No other violations were found at the time of inspection. A green placard was issued.
Food was not kept cold enough, hot enough, cooled fast enough, or cooked or reheated to the right temperature. Bacteria grow quickly in the "danger zone" between 41°F and 135°F, which makes this one of the most important food-safety checks.
