Plumbing approved, installed, in good repair; proper backflow devices
Drain line from hot water dispenser extends into the floor sink by the ice machine. [CA] Provide a minimum of a 1 inch air gap between the end of equipment drain lines and the rim of the floor sink to protect equipment from back flow contamination.
The business had issues with hot or cold running water, plumbing, drains, backflow prevention, or sewage disposal. Some of these, like no hot water, can force a temporary closure until fixed.

Facility is preparing and selling tea eggs. With the exception of boba that was previously approved, facility is NOT approved to cook food due to lack of a ventilation hood in the facility. [CA] Discontinue the use of cooking equipment for food items that was not previously approved. Facility may request for a hood exemption, but will also require an update to facility's permit risk category for preparation of additional food besides beverages.
Floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, ventilation, or garbage areas needed repair or cleaning. These are usually less urgent than food-handling problems but still need to be fixed.

Boba that is subject to time is not properly time-marked. Per employee, the boba was prepared at 11:50 AM. [CA] Potentially hazardous foods that are subject to time rather than temperature shall be time-marked with the start/end of the 4 hour period where it shall be discarded. [COS] Employee discarded the boba 10 minutes early and prepared a new batch that is time-marked.

Handwash sink located behind the front counter is partially obstructed by a table. [CA] All handwash sinks shall be kept unobstructed and easily accessible to allow employees to properly and easily wash their hands when required. [COS] Employee relocated the table.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
