OBSERVED THE NORTH BAR HANDWASHING SINK WITH A MAXIMUM HOT WATER TEMPERATURE OF 66.7F, THE HANDWASHING SINK IN THE DISH WASHING/PREP AREA WITH A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 84.1F, AND THE HANDWASHING SINK AT THE SALAD LINE WITH A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 80.2F. MUST PROVIDE HOT WATER WITH A MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 100F AT ALL HANDWASHING SINKS. PRIORITY VIOLATION, 7-38-030(C). CITATION ISSUED.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
