ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE
OBSERVED NO OPERABLE HANDSINK IN FRONT SERVICE/PREP AREA WHERE MEALS ARE PLACED INTO CONTAINERS, AND COFFEE IS PREPARED. INSTRUCTED TO INSTALL A FULLY STOCKED HANDWASHING SINK ACCORDING TO PLUMBING CODE WITH HOT AND COLD WATER, STOCKED WITH SOAP, PAPER TOWEL, AND HANDWASHING SIGNAGE. PRIORTIY FOUNDATION VIOLATION. #7-30-030(C). CITATION ISSUED.
Staff were not washing their hands when required, or a handwashing sink was blocked, missing soap or paper towels, or used for something else. Hands are one of the most common ways germs reach food.
