Non-food contact surfaces of equipment must be made of materials which are corrosion-resistant, non-absorbent, and smooth. Remove equipment with non-food contact surfaces made of other materials.
The wood under the formica cabinet under the handwash sink is exposed where the laminate is no longer intact. Informed the person-in-charge (PIC) they MUST replace, within 12 months, any exposed formica/laminate cabinets and shelves with a smooth, durable, and cleanable surface that can withstand frequent cleaning.
Dishes, equipment, or surfaces that touch food were not properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized, or sanitizer was not at the right strength. Clean surfaces help stop germs from spreading to food.

There's a vinyl tile and baseboard installed in the small kitchen, and such flooring material is not approved or suitable flooring for food establishment areas where coolers, dishwashers, and sinks are located/stored. Informed the PIC they MUST replace the vinyl tile and base with an approved flooring with integral base (quarry tile, etc.) within 12 months.
