Inspector’s notes

The majority of the deli items including soups and various pasta salads are made in a kitchen in a different location under same ownership. The kitchen only has a catering license. Additional licensing is needed for this kitchen to be used as a commissary. The catering kitchen area inspector has been informed and will determine needed licensing to continue this mode of operation. In addition pickled vegetables made at the catering kitchen were observed available for retail with two week use by date. As they were not made on site it could not be determined at time of inspection if these products require a HACCP plan. Area inspector for the catering kitchen has been informed and will investigate what is required for these products.
