Observed a large container of pinto beans cooling in an ice bath that only went up three quarters of the height of the beans. Temperature recorded at 155 F. Cool foods using thin pans or ice baths with ice going all the way up to the level of the food. Beans were separated into 2 smaller ice baths.

Observed food handler wash gloved hands. If gloves become contaminated, discard gloves and wash hands. Corrected with employee.
